Thank you for taking the time to learn about the Lake Norman Jewish Congregation.  We believe that every Jewish individual or family deserves to be part of a meaningful spiritual, cultural, and educational community.  We welcome all who wish to explore Judaism in an inclusive, warm and caring environment.  As the only full-time congregation in the Lake Norman/North Charlotte area, we seek to meet the social, life cycle, and spiritual needs of the expanding area's Jewish community. 

With Rabbi Michael Shields as our full time spiritual leader, our own Torah, a committed board of directors, and numerous volunteers, our community has blossomed with nearly 115 family members and almost 90 children in the religious school.  Programming continues to expand and evolve and includes religious services, educational opportunities for all ages, social events, caring for those in times of need, and more.
